WHAT IS A PERFECT PROJECT LIKE??

During my experience, I can say that if you plan all perfectly, something will go wrong.

Obviously, never is like you predicted and planned because there are a lot of variables involved in. When you make your Gantt, especially for big Projects with a lot of companies involved in, how many time is it like in reality? Obviously, a good planning and a good risk assessment help you to solve easily what could be wrong. Thus, focalize on what could be wrong and be prepared for deviations, don't get upset if something is not like you planned.
Important factors are a great TEAM, a great plan and the constant control and tracking of your project in order to control how it is going.

Always be Optimistic!! but with a right safety pillows...:-)

FORMULA OF THE SUCCESS IN EVERY BUSINESS!!

During my life, fortunately, I lived different kinds of lives.

I have been a student, I have been a lifeguard for a long time, I have been an entrepreneur for two years with my business partner, I have been an investor, I have been maintenance engineer and Project manager for industrial systems.

All of this experiences gave me something that every day I use. They gave me those little secrets to have SUCCESS in all kind of work and business you are running in.

If I could summarize them, I would make a short list to give to whom is reading right now.

This short list doesn't give you an instant success, Like each thing in life, success is made by a lot of ingredients, but this list might help you to start a new life.

FORMULA OF SUCCESS:

- ATTITUDE: Everyday is different and your mood depends on such different things, BUT..Have you ever noticed that sometimes you produce great things and sometimes you can't get up from your bed. That energy is depending on your ATTITUDE. In based on what you think,  you can get things done in the future or you might lose them. Read carefully, try to see you always full of opportunities and you will always have the great mindset.

- LISTEN TO PEOPLE: As I said in another article " If you want to lead people, first of all, you have to listen to them and you have to "listen" their emotions, trying to balance those emotions and get their negative emotions out.

It's easy, start just:

1) Listening to their idea and emotions about something.

2) After a conversation tries to find a common point.

After this two easy behaviors, they have been engaged, and will be easier work with them."

- GIVE CLEAR RESPONSIBILITY: In my life, the reason why I failed and Learnt was that responsibilities weren't enough to clear in the organization. I think that to achieve a goal anyone of the team should have clear responsibilities. If it is not like this, won't be a clear and unique destination. At the end of a period, you have to control how your partner is keeping these responsibilities. Being clear save time and quarrels.

- PAY ATTENTION TO THE BUDGET: Money is important, always, find the right way to save them and to make them grow.

- SMILE Every day: Everyday there is a reason to smile. Smiling improve your attitude and your results. Whatever happens in your life give me a smile..:-)

- LEARN HOW TO SELL: After years of selling ( When I was an entrepreneur I have sold my products on my own ) I Learnt what important this skill is. The first thing: to sell, you need to catch people emotionally.
Making real compliments and find common point is the base to close a deal, then there are a lot of techniques to improve it. Try to be as much transparent and sincere as you can with people and this will pay off.

- CHOOSE THE RIGHT PEOPLE: Creating a great team assures you the achieving of any kind of goal. Remember good persons with an average QI is better than wrong persons with an excellent QI.

-  PERSISTENCE: To talk about it I will take a quote from the movie "THE FOUNDER": 

Ray Kroc: "I know what you're thinking. How's a milkshake salesman build a fast food empire with an annual revenue of $700 million? Persistence"
Ray Kroc speaks directly to the camera in this The Founder movie quote. He talks about how he went from being some low-level salesman to the man behind building a multimillion dollar company, at least how he sees what happened.

Knowing how to listen people!! The way of improving

During my career I studied which kind of skills are important to have to LEAD a team.

I had some problems when I was young, when I was an entrepreneurs at the first experiences and thanks to them I noticed differences in the people behavior  after having had a lot of different conversations.

If you want to lead people, first of all you have to listen them and you have to "listen" their emotions, trying to balance that emotions and get their negative emotions out.

It's easy, start just:

2) After a conversation try to find a common point.

After this two easy behaviors they have been engaged, and will be easier work with them.

COMMUNICATION is the word of the this time and people pay more attention in the way of communication.

As a great team leader LISTEN and FIND COMMON POINTS.

An easy way to know if your INVESTMENT will pay off!

In Industrial, like in other fields, an important part is made by money.

Everyone has to deal with money matter during a project.
Today I would like to share an important information about my favourite Financial index: NPV.
Before showing an example, I want to explain in real words what an NPV is. It is the acronym of Net present value.
As you know during the time the currency tends to evaluate, that is when the inflation is positive. With NPV we calculate, in base on time, the rate of inflation and other costs ( for example the cost of the money), the value that would have our return of investments in future but in the time that we want ( time zero is when we make the analysis and so the investment).

Wikipedia says "is a measurement of the profitability of an undertaking that is calculated by subtracting the present values (PV) of cash outflows (including initial cost) from the present values of cash inflows over a period of time."
"NPV is the sum of all the discounted future cash flows.
Because of its simplicity, NPV is a useful tool to determine whether a project or investment will result in a net profit or a loss. A positive NPV results in profit, while a negative NPV results in a loss".
I will show an example of how it works.
Imagine you want to buy a new home to rent, just for investment. How do you know the amount of money you need to get every year?
I imagined that we would like to rent a home and at the sixth year we would sell it.
We, analyzing the future market conditions, have to consider a cost of our money ( expected average inflation, if we borrow it, etc..).
If this number is positive, your investment might be paid off. If it's negative, it's not a good idea to keep this kind of investment.

THE STORY OF MY LIFE..And what I learnt!!

Hi everyone,

today I decided to write about my life, without barrier, with no unreal facts, just like what comes on my mind, real LIFE.
I was born in a small city in Italy. When I was young I moved to another city then come back to my hometown after 10 years.
During my adolescence, I studied just the minimum, until something changed my life. Really my life changed in that time.
I thank every day for that day.
A doctor said that I had cancer, some months after my grandfather died. I remember my dad in the car, coming back home, the times were infinite, my thoughts went with no brakes.
I remember that day. I thought about my life and about what was really important in my life, my family, my friends, my girlfriend and especially MYSELF.
I  thought what important was not living an average life. The last time in my life, I was thinking.
Thankfully, I discovered that I had just a disease easy to overcome.
But that day I changed my life.
That day I decided:
To live my life always with a smile on my mouth, my phrase every day is " I'm always good", not because everything is going really good but because I really tried what difficult moments are.
To do Different things and to be energetic. To be extraordinary.
To study to get awareness about my life and the people around me.
To love people and appreciate new cultures and ways of thinking.
What I really learnt is ENJOYING My and other life, because life is one and really can change in just a few a time.
I decided That my life would have been DIFFERENT.
Be excited about what you are living!!!

Working as an Engineer is MORE than what you plan, what you design or what you calculate.. it means how you behave toward the workers that you manage.. the PEOPLE around you are so important and you need them IN ORDER TO achieve your goal!!
