PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE

Hi everyone!! Do you know the importance of predictive maintenance??


A predictive maintenance is different from preventive maintenance. Sometimes when you are in maintenance team you get a lot of informations from the owner of the machines or systems that you manage, and with them you create your plan for the year. However, it is important to check how the systems are going. Noises are a clear signal that could show you how a system are working, strange losses of oil, the hours of work are all things that you have to control.

So, it is important to have check lists in which you, with your technician, can control the state of facilities that you manage. Bearing, cylinders, shaft, gears are so important in systems and they are breakable.



Knowing how organize as much better as you can means not have big problems with your systems and manufacture with less interruption.

Hi everyone,

what does P.D.C.A mean? It is the acronym of "PLAN DO CHECK ACT". Who has read the book about SCRUM know it.

But do you think it work?? Of course yes.

The first phase is the PLANNING. Even if you will change it, you need it to understand the goals have to be reached. For example, as a planner in a maintenance field, I make a weekly schedule and try to keep it for all week is hard but necessary to keep facilities and system in good health.

Second step is ..., DOING, is like in life, if you don't do it there won't be a result, in everything in life. Try to do it as much as you can.

CHECK if what you did was right or not and it compliance with what you wanted.

Last but not least, in order to improve ( CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT MINDSET), you ACT to improve what you did. This is the philosophy that a Project manager have to have. You must think to improve what you did, every single time, because only with this effort you can reach great goals.

How can prepare a CONSTRUCTION SITE

Hi everyone, today I will talk about how we can prepare a construction site and the importance of it.
A jobsite is an area where a group of worker work. There are different type of site and each one can have different features.
The main idea to follow is always the same: Separating the work area from other adjacent areas. This reduce the possibility of interference between worker and consequently safety could be guaranteed.

Keep in mind, spend time to do it with each tools.

The following list is the basis for a preparation of a job site:

1. Prepare the permit to work.
2. Inform the owners of the area.
3. Circumscribe the work area.
4. Be easily visible.
5. Using the right PPE.
6. SAFETY FIRST.
7. GOOD JOB!!!!
